Hockey Party March 5th.

Friends and family members from around the central New York area got together for a Syracuse Crunch hockey game at the Onondaga County War Memorial, and to talk about  our plans for Albany Day 2010.

Several familiar faces were there to share in the food and fun; the Crunch won, and we shared ideas for letters to write our state legislators urging them to act now on laws to ban high insurance co-pays for factor.

Hemophilia Federation of America

People with bleeding disorders from around the country converged on Kansas City, MO this past April 21-24 for the annual Hemophilia Federation of America symposium.

Bob, Homer, Chad, and several families from camp had the chance to go and participate in educational talks and fun activities aimed at building a stronger, informed and active bleeding disorders community.  Among the highlights was the launch of the HFA’s new website designed to help you learn better exercise and nutrition habits.

This symposium is for everyone from our community; to learn more see the HFA website (we have a link) for more information.  It’s definitely worth the trip!

Community Events – May 1st Bowling Party.

We got together Saturday, May 1st at Strike & Spare in Mattydale (just north of Syracuse) for our annual Spring Bowling party.  We had food and 2 hours of bowling, PLUS a chance to meet with a Physical Therapist who helped with your exercise questions (we all exercise, don’t we?).
